COMPETITION TEAM
At New Union, our BJJ Competition team is a dynamic group of practitioners eager to test their knowledge and skills. With a diverse range of experience from white belts to seasoned black belts, we train rigorously as a team to prepare each other for the mental and physical challenges of local, national and international competitions.
All ages and experience levels are welcome to join the team, whether competing in Gi or No-Gi tournaments, our coaches are there to support you every step of the way.

Ultimately, time on the mat is the best way to improve skill, and prepare oneself for a competition.
Additionally, at New Union, we include Competition classes, Open Mat Classes, and Affiliate Team Training days to our schedule in order to bring our team together to bring out the best in one another. These classes are designed to prepare practitioners for the rigors of tournament settings through intense and focused training. These classes typically include a combination of warm-ups, technique drills, and extensive sparring sessions to simulate the competitive environment. Emphasis is placed on refining specific techniques, developing strategic approaches, and enhancing mental toughness.
